1. Introduction

Welcome to Al-Uloom (al-uloom.in), an online Islamic academy operated by Abdullah Bukhari as a sole proprietorship based in Kerala, India. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the Al-Uloom website and all related services.
• "Student" refers to any user enrolled in courses or tuition classes on the platform.
• "Instructor/Tutor" refers to teachers providing educational services through the platform.
• "Admin" refers to the administrators managing the platform.
• "Services" refers to all educational offerings including tuition classes, courses, study materials, and related features.

3. Eligibility

• Our services are open to students of all ages, including children under 18.
• For students under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must create the account and provide consent for the child's participation and data collection.
• By registering a minor, the parent/guardian accepts these Terms on behalf of the child and takes responsibility for the child's use of the platform.

4. Account Registration

• You may register using email-based registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Services

Al-Uloom provides the following services:

• Tuition Classes: Live online classes with assigned tutors, offered in individual and group (non-individual) formats.
• Study Materials: Access to articles, books, videos, and other educational resources.
• Progress Tracking: Attendance records and learning progress tracked by the platform.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time with reasonable notice.

6. Payments & Fees

• Course and tuition fees are displayed on the respective course/enrollment pages.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of all applicable charges.
• Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We accept UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and digital wallets.
• Manual payments are also accepted. Please contact the admin for more information.
• Upon successful payment, you will be enrolled in the selected course or tuition class.
• Payment records are maintained for your reference in your dashboard.
• For refund-related terms, please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Tuition Class Terms

• Tuition classes are billed based on the pricing plan selected at the time of enrollment.
• Each class session is counted once it has been conducted by the tutor, regardless of individual student attendance in group (non-individual) classes.
• In individual classes, a class is counted only when it is conducted.
• Students are expected to attend classes regularly. Consistent absence may affect your enrollment.
• Class schedules and tutor assignments are managed by the admin and are subject to change with prior notice.

8. Instructor/Tutor Terms

• Instructors must apply through the platform and be approved by the admin.
• Instructors are responsible for conducting classes as scheduled and maintaining quality of instruction.
• Instructor compensation is managed separately between Al-Uloom and the instructor.
• Instructors must not share personal contact information with students outside the platform for class-related communications without admin approval.

9. User Conduct

By using our platform, you agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload or share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise the security of the platform
• Reproduce, distribute, or resell any course content or materials without permission
• Harass or behave disrespectfully towards other students, instructors, or staff

10. Intellectual Property

• All content on the platform (courses, articles, videos, study materials, design, and branding) is the intellectual property of Al-Uloom or its content creators.
• You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access content for personal educational use only.
• You may not copy, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

• Al-Uloom provides educational services on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform.
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

12. Account Termination

• You may request account deletion by contacting us at abdullakbukhari@gmail.com.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms without prior notice.
• Upon termination, your access to paid content and classes will be revoked. Any unused balance for future classes may be refundable as per our Refund Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
